
Linux based Maemo operating system is was previously used only by Nokia. But recently Chinese Optima company announced its new mobile internet device – Optima OP5-E. In spite of the fact that this device is the first experience of Chinese developers of using Maemo OS it look good. Optima OP5-E MID has 4.3 inch touch screen with 800×480 px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus, additional 0.3 Mp camera for video calls, Marvell PXA320 806 MHz CPU, 128 Mb RAM, 256 Mb ROM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS module, microSD memory card slot, stereo loud speakers, microphone and 3.5 mm audio jack. In addition this coming device supports CDMA/EVDO networks and has 2600 mAh battery. Unfortunately there is no any information about release date and price.
