During Mobile World Congress 2010 Samsung showed its new flagship device. Samsung S8500 Wave is the world’s first mobile device running on Bada platform. Other remarkable features of this device are its 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and 3.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 px resolution and 16 million colors. Samsung Wave also features unique user interface that resembles TouchWiz and combines best solutions of competing mobile platforms. For example there is sliding panel that allows you to manage wireless connections. As for other characteristics this high-end device has 5 Mp camera with autofocus and HD video (1280х720px, 30 fps) recording support, 2 or 8 Gb built-in storage, microSD/HC memory card slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, GPS module and 3.5 headphones jack, The dimensions are 118x56x11 mm. The battery has 1500 mAh capacity and provides 100 hours of music playback. Samsung S8500 Wave will become available in May and will cost about $550.
