T-Mobile operator together with Garmin announced new smartphone featuring impressive navigation capabilities. T-Mobile Garminfone is a version of Garmin Nuvifone A50. It runs on Google Android 1.6 operating system and is equipped with 3.5 inch capacitive multi-touch capable screen with 320x480px resolution, 3 Mp camera with autofocus, 4 Gb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot (up to 32 Gb), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, accelerometer digital compass, GPS module. The battery has 1150 mAh capacity and provides up to 3 hours of talk time or 250 hours of idle one. Naturally though the Garminfone’s speciality is the fully-functioning navigation features which include driving, walking and public transportation directions – whether in or out of network coverage. There’s the option of using lane guidance when driving too. It also includes several pre-installed Garmin apps that provide info on local petrol prices, real-time traffic, weather, local events and movie listings. There is no information about price. The release will take place in next few weeks.

Chinese Moonse has just unveiled its new device – Moonse E-7001. It is tablet running on Google Android 1.6 operating system. Its list of specifications includes 7 inch touch screen with 800x400px resolution, 600 MHz Rockchip RK2808 processor, microSD memory card slot (up to 32 Gb), 1.3 Mp webcam, WiFi 802.11b/g, 3G HDSPA modem, Bluetooth, two Mini-USB ports, 3.5mm headphones jack. The battery has 3000 mAh capacity and provides about 5 hours of active work time. This tablets measures 237x125x14.33mm and weights 400g. The price is about $135.

Lenovo has just announced its new netbook that will become available in next few weeks. Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s is thin (16mm) and stylish device designed for ladies. It is equipped with 10.1 inch display with 1024x600px resolution, 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor, 1 or 2 Gb DDR2 RAM, 320 Gb hard disk, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth +EDR, 3G module, VGA output. The operating system is Windows 7 Starter. The price of this netbook is only $379.

Most of Chinese mobile phones clones have wretched list of specifications, but this one seems to be exclusion. Touch MAX 2G is a clone of HTC MAX 4G. In contrast to original device it has two pre-installed operating systems – Windows Mobile 6.5 and Google Android 1.6. It features 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 1024x600px resolution, 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 processor, Intel GMA500 graphics system and 1 GB DDR2 RAM.
