New LG’s dual-screen QWERTY smartphone

Pocket-link has just published first photos of coming LG’s smartphone that has not been officially announced yet. LG Flip II is a horizontal QWERTY slider featuring two displays – a big 3-inch capacitive touchscreen and a small one that shows shortcuts of most used apps. Journalists don’t share any specifications but it is known that this device runs on Google Android 2.2 Froyo. It is expected that T-Mobile will release LG Flip II in next few weeks.


Motorola XT882 high-end dual-core smartphone

Motorola has just showed its new smartphone that will become available In China in next few weeks. It is Motorola XT882. It runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is based on NVIDIA Tegra 2 T250 platform that includes dual-core processor with 1.2GHz clock. Motorola XT882 also features Dual-SIM function support and can work with both GSM and CDMA networks. Coby Kyros MID1024 Android tablet

Coby Electronic has just announced its new tablet computer to become available for pre-order. Coby Kyros MID1024 runs on Google Android 2.2 Froyo operating system is equipped with 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024x600px resolution, 1GHz processor by Samsung, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 32GB), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, front-facing camera, USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm headphones jack, 3000mAh battery. The price of this Android tablet is $270.

MOPS Shadow T800 gaming Android smartphone

This device seems to be a rival of Sony Ericsson Xperia Play that doesn’t have a great run. MOPS Shadow T800 is a smartphone equipped with joystick and hardware buttons. It runs on Google Android 2.2 Froyo operating system and comes with pre-installed emulators of some popular portable game consoles. MOPS Shadow T800 has 3.5-inch capacitive touch screen with 320x480px resolution, 512MB RAM, 806MHz processor, 5MP camera, 0.3MP camera for video calls, GPS, Bluetooth, 3G modem. The price of this gaming Android smartphone is $410.


ZTE Skate comes in June for €250

ZTE Skate seems to be a good alternative for those users who would like to have high-end smartphone but can’t afford devices by such vendors as HTC, Samsung, Motorola and LG. At first it was shown at Mobile World Congress 2011 exhibition but at that time the producer didn’t share its price and release date. But Greek Digital Life source has just revealed this information. ZTE Skate will become available in June for EUR250.

ZTE Skate runs on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and is based on Qualcomm MSM7227 chipset that includes 800MHz processor and Adreno 200 graphics accelerator. It is equipped with 4.3-inch capacitive touch screen with 480x800px resolution, 5MP AF camera with LED flash, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio with RDS, accelerometer, 3.5mm headphones jack, MicroSD external memory cards slot.

Casio G’zOne Commando rugged smartphone

With the popularity of touchphones rugged mobile devices become not as widespread as they were before. But this device is exclusion. The tablet is equipped with 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024x600px resolution, 512MB RAM, 512MB ROM, microSD external memory card slot, 1.3MP front-facing webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI output, USB port, stereo loud speakers, accelerometer. The dimensions are 276x179x14.5mm, the weight is 730g. The battery of this device provides about 6 hours of work time. In Europe ViewSonic ViewPad 10s will cost EUR299. A version with 3G module will cost EUR99 more.

Sony Ericsson Xperia mini pro 2

In next few weeks Sony Ericsson will release an heir of Xperia X10 mini pro smartphone. BEON TS007 Chinese smartphone

The design of this device by BEON Electronics bears a strong resemblance to the style of HTC’s smartphones. But in contrast to many other Chinese clones this one is a real smartphone. HTC showes its first 3D smartphone

Today at CTIA Wireless 2011 exhibition Taiwanese HTC company showed its new smartphone that will be sold by American Sprint mobile operator. The main feature of HTC EVO 3D is an ability to create and play 3D content. It has two 5MP cameras supporting HD (720p) video recording and 4.3-inch capacitive touchscreen with 540x960px resolution. It is notable that to view 3D content users don’t need any glasses.

Other specifications include 1.2GHz processor by Qualcomm, 1.3MP front-facing webcam, 1GB RAM, 4GB ROM, MicroSD external memory card slot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS, digital compass, accelerometer, 3.5mm headphones jack, 1730mAh battery. HTC EVO 3D will become available this summer. No word about price.
