ViewSonic is showing at the IFA 2010 exhibition in Berlin its new device. ViewSonic ViewPad 100 is tablet computer that main feature is dual boot. That means that it has two operating systems – Google Android 1.6 and Windows 7. Users are offered to choose between two operating systems when they switch on the device. Other specifications are usual for other devices of such class – ViewSonic ViewPad 100 has 10 inch touchscreen display with 1024x600px resolution, 1.66GHz Intel Atom processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, 16GB SSD, SDHC external memory card slot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, 1.3MP webcam, VGA output, two USB 2.0 ports. ViewSonic ViewPad 100 will become available in Europe in October and will cost about $850.

Yesterday Archos unleashed its five new devices. Some of them can be ascribed to PMPs with 2.8- and 3.2-inch screens, others belong to tablets class. Nevertheless all of them are powered by Google’s Android 2.2 Froyo mobile operating system.

Archos 101 is the most advanced device from new devices line. It features 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor that provides HD video (720p) and 3D content playback. Other specifications of this tablet include 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen with 1024x600px resolution, 8GB or 16GB internal storage, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, VGA camera, HDMI output. Archos 101 will become available in October and will cost $300.

In contrast to Archos 101 this Android tablet has smaller screen – 7 inch capacitive display with 800x480px resolution, 8GB NAND flash storage or 250GB hard drive. It is also know that Archos 70 has 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP supports, HDMI output. This device will be also launched in October but will less than Archos 101 – $275.

Archos 43 has 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 4.3 inch resistive touch screen with 480x854px resolution, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, MicroSD external memory card slot, accelerometer, 3.5mm headphones jack, HDMI interface, 3MP camera that supports HD video (720p) recording support. Archos 43 will be release in the first half of October. The price is 199.

Archos 32 is much closer to portable media players than other three devices. It is equipped with 3.2 inch resistive touch screen with 400x240px resolution, 800MHz processor, 0.3MP camera, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, Wi-Fi, 8 GB internal storage, MicroSD card slot, 3.5mm headphones jack. Archos 32 Android tablet will be released in September and will cost $150.

The specifications of Archos 28 are very similar. It has the same processor, but has no camera and Bluetooth modules. The screen has 2.8 inch diagonal (not 3.2). This tablet also has 4 GB internal storage, microSD card slot (up to 16 GB). This device will be available for $100. It release is expected to be in next few weeks.

Some sources have already published some ‘live’ photos of coming Samsung’s tablet computer. It is know that this mobile computer is powered by Google’s Android 2.2 operating system and is equipped with 7 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 1024x600px resolution, PowerVR SGX540 graphics accelerator, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, FM radio, GPS, 3G module, cardreader, 3.5mm headphones jack, two cameras – 0.3 Mp frontal webcam and 3.2 Mp camera on the back side. It is also said that Samsung Galaxy Tab supports DivX and HD video playback.

eMachines company has just announced its compact nettop. Its main feature is its design. But the list of specifications also looks good. eMachines Mini-e ER1402 runs on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit version and is equipped with AMD Athlon II NEO processor, GeForce 9200 graphics card, 2 GB DDR2 RAM, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, HDMI port, SPDIF output, 160 GB hard drive, four USB 2.0 ports. The price of this stylish is only $299.

HP unveiled its new netbook designed for students between kindergarten and 6th grade. HP Mini 100e Education Edition features strong plastic chassis with steel pins, a spill-resistant keyboard, and an LED on the back of the lid so that teachers can see when there’s network activity. Other specifications of this laptop are usual for other present-day netbooks. The Mini 100e has a 10.1 inch display with 1024×600 pixel resolution, a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N455 processor, GMA 3150 graphics system, 1GB DRR3 RAM, 160 GB hard drive, two USB 2.0 ports,  SD memory card slot (also supports MMC), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, VGA output, 1.3 Mp webcam, Bluetooth. It will be available with Windows XP Home, Windows 7 Starter, or SUSE Linux 11 operating system. HP Mini 100e Education Edition will become available for $300 in the beginning of July.

Microsoft demonstrates the first LG’s tablet computer on its stand at Computex 2010 exhibition. LG UX10 is powered by Windows 7 Home Premium operating system and is equipped with 10 inch touchscreen display, 1.6 Intel Atom Z530 processor, 1 GB DRR2 RAM, frontal 1.3 Mp camera, SD external memory card slot, Wi-Fi, MicroHDMI output, 7200 mAh battery. Unfortunately we have no any official information about release date and price of this tablet PC.

MSI company has just published some information about its coming tablet computer that will be announce at Computes 2010 exhibition in June. Now it is know that MSI Slatebook is equipped with 10 inch multi-touch capable display, Intel Atom Z series processor, three USB 2.0 ports, HDMI output, GPS, 3G and Wi-Fi modules. The operating system is Windows 7 Ultimate. The weight of this tablet PC is 800g. It is also known that the battery of this device provides about 8 hour of work time.

Yesterday MSI officially announced its new laptop and published the list of its specifications. MSI GT660 is positioned as the world’s most high-powered laptop. It is equipped with 1.6 GHz Intel Core i7-720QM processor, 12 GB DDR2 RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX 285M with 1 GB built-in memory, two hard drives (up to 1.2 TB), DVD or Blu-ray optic drive, cardreader, Wi-Fi, 1.3 Mp webcam, HDMI, USB 3.0. This laptop also has rubber keyboard and orange LED illumination. Besides MSI GT660 features TDE and ECO Engine technologies that provide longer battery life. There are also two loudspeakers and subwoofer. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium or Windows 7 Ultimate. Unfortunately MSI has not published any information about price yet.

Lenovo has just announced its new netbook that will become available in next few weeks. Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3s is thin (16mm) and stylish device designed for ladies. It is equipped with 10.1 inch display with 1024x600px resolution, 1.83GHz Intel Atom N470 processor, 1 or 2 Gb DDR2 RAM, 320 Gb hard disk, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth +EDR, 3G module, VGA output. The operating system is Windows 7 Starter. The price of this netbook is only $379.

Chinese Sinchun company has just announced its new tablet computer. Sinchun Saycool M7 runs on Windows XP operating system but it future owners will have an opportunity to install Windows 7 or Linux. This tablet measures 200x123x22mm and weights 550g. It features 7 inch capacitive multi-touch display with 1024x600px resolution, 1.1GHz Intel Atom Z510 processor, Intel GMA500 graphics system and 1 GB DDR2 RAM. Other specifications are 16 Gb SSD, microSD memory card slot (up to 32Gb), 0.3 Mp webcam, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS module, USB, 3.5 mm headphones jack, 1900 mAh battery and optional 3G module. Unfortunately there is no official information about release date and price.
