Asus Cine5 measures only 373×100x80 mm but provides realistic and dynamic surround sound to satisfy consummate gamers and personal entertainment users. The output level is 28W max, 15W RMS. Besides, this device looks very stylish. Unfortunately, there is no any word on pricing or availability date.

Asus DR-900 e-reader

Today during CeBIT 2010 exhibition Asus announced some new mobile devices including its first ebook reader. Asus DR-900 features 9 inch screen with 1024×768 px resolution, 4 Gb built-in storage, Wi-Fi, and 3.5 mm headphones jack. There is also optional 3G module. It is also said that the battery of this e-reader provides viewing of 10,000 pages of text on a single charge. Supported files extensions are PDF, TXT, MP3 and ePUB. Unfortunately there is no any official information about release date and price.

Nokia has just announced its budget class smartphone. Nokia C5 is the first mobile device from new Nokia’s Cseries line. It has monoblock shape and runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system. One of the notable features of this device is contact list. It provides an opportunity to check view the status of friends in popular social networks like Facebook and Twitter. You can also change your status in Facebook, adding to information about your location using Ovi Maps 3.0. The main phone screen displays the three most used contacts. This widget allows you to call these people or send them a message via Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger.
The list of technical characteristics looks good – 2.2 inch screen with 240×320 px resolution and 16 million colors, 3.2 Mp camera with flash, FM radio with RDS, 50 Mb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot (up to 16 Gb), 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS with A-GPS support. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0. Supported network standards are GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and WCDMA/HSDPA/HSUPA 900/2100 MHz. This smartphone measures 112×46x12.3 mm and weights 89g. Nokia C5 will become available in April and will cost €135.

Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, LAN, and Bluetooth. The battery provides up to 16 hours of work time. Unfortunately there is no information about release date.

During Mobile World Congress 2010 Samsung showed its new flagship device. Samsung S8500 Wave is the world’s first mobile device running on Bada platform. Other remarkable features of this device are its 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and 3.3 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 px resolution and 16 million colors. Samsung Wave also features unique user interface that resembles TouchWiz and combines best solutions of competing mobile platforms. For example there is sliding panel that allows you to manage wireless connections. As for other characteristics this high-end device has 5 Mp camera with autofocus and HD video (1280х720px, 30 fps) recording support, 2 or 8 Gb built-in storage, microSD/HC memory card slot, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 with A2DP, GPS module and 3.5 headphones jack, The dimensions are 118×56x11 mm. The battery has 1500 mAh capacity and provides 100 hours of music playback. Samsung S8500 Wave will become available in May and will cost about $550.

Together with Nuvifone A50 Garmin-Asus announced one more smartphone. Nuvifone M10 will become available in Europe and Asia by the end of the second quarter of this year. But it will be demonstrated at Mobile World Congress 2010 in Barcelona. This smartphone runs on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 operating system with pre-installed UI. This list of technical characteristics is usual for devices of such class and includes 3.5 inch touchscreen display with 800×480 px resolution, 5 Mp camera with flash and autofocus, 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7227 processor, 512 Mb RAM, 512 Mb ROM, 4 Gb internal storage, microSDHC memory card slot, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, Wi-Fi b/g, 1500 mAh battery and 3.5 mm audio jack. Nuvifone M10 measures 116 x 58 x 14.3 mm and weights 138 g.

This communicator will become available in South Korea next month. It is first company’s device running on Google Android 2.1 operating system added with TouchWiz user interface. Samsung M100S is equipped with 3.7 inch AMOLED touch screen with WVGA resolution, 800 MHz processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS, T-DMB TV tuner, GPS, 5 Mp camera with HD video (720p) recording support, 3.5 mm audio jack and microSD memory card slot. Unfortunately there is no word about European and US release date.

Today Singaporean Fusion Garage started mass production of its new device. JooJoo is tablet computer running on UNIX family operating system. Together with this tablet Fusion Garage will release online app store that will be open for third-party developers. The producer also noted that in conterst to Apple iPad this device supports Flash and even HD Flash. As for technical characteristics JooJoo tablet has 12.1 inch touch screen with 1366×768 px resolution and multi-touch technology support, 4 Gb built-in storage, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, and 3.5 mm audio jack. The first information about this phone appeared some weeks ago. It is expected that it will be officially announced at Mobile World Congress 2010 and will become available by the end of the March. In contrast to other latest HTC’s communicators this one has physical QWERTY keyboard. HTC Trophy runs on Windows Mobile 6.5 operating system and has 3 inch touch screen with 640×480 px resolution, 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor, 256 Mb RAM, 5 Mp camera with autofocus, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 3.5 mm audio jack. To all appearances HTC Trophy belongs to middle class device and will cost about $300.
