
MSI has just announced two new laptops that are based on Intel Arrandale platform. Both two devices are almost identical, the only difference is that MSI CX620 has ATi Radeon HD5470 graphic system with 1 Gb built-in memory while MSI CR620 is equipped with integrated graphics card. Other characteristics are 15.6 inch display with 1366×768 px resolution, 4 Gb DDR2 RAM, 250 or 500 Gb hard drive, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 1.3 Mp webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, HDMI, RJ45 and D-Sub out. Both laptops run on Windows 7 Home Premium. Unfortunately there is no any information about release date and price.

Recently Dell unveiled new version of its popular netbook – Inspiron Mini 10. It has Intel Atom N450 CPU and 6 cell battery that provides up to nine hours of operation. Besides this device features 10.1 inch display with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution (enough for real 720p HD on screen), Broadcom Crystal HD graphics accelerator, 1GB of DDR2 RAM, 160GB or 250GB hard disk drive, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, TV tuner and cardrider. The new netbook will be shipped with Windows XP Home, Windows 7 Starter edition or Ubuntu. Dell Inspiron Mini 10 will become available in next few weeks. Prices will start at $299.

LG has just announced its new compact laptop. Its thickness is only 25 mm, and weight is 1.89 kg. As for technical characteristics LG X-Note T380 is equipped with 13.3 inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution and LED highlight, Core Duo SU7300 1.3 GHz CPU, 4 GB DDR2 RAM, Intel GMA 4500HD graphic accelerator, 500 Gb hard disk, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules. The operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium. LG X-Note T380 is powered by 8-cell battery, which, according to the manufacturer’s assurances, it should suffice for a (maximum) 10.5 hours away from the outlet. This coming device has been just officially announced in South Korea. Samsung X170 belongs to the class of ultraportable laptops and is equipped 11.6-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 1366×768 pixels (16:9). This notebook comes with 2 DUO (CULV) CPU, 1.3 Mp camera, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3-in-1 card rider. Unfortunately there is no official information about amount of RAM and hard drive capacity, but it seems that this coming netbook would be similar to the recently introduced Samsung notebooks of other CULV-powered lineup includes the X120, X420 and X520, which are equipped with 1-4GB of RAM and 160-500GB hard drive. The case of Samsung X170 is only 25.4 mm thick and looks very stylish. The pre-installed operating system is Windows Vista. The cost of the X170 is not reported.

The announce of this device comes as a surprise. It is first netbook by Nokia. Nevertheless Nokia Booklet 3G looks good and has every prospect of success. It has both nice design and impressive set of technical characteristics. A two cm thick case of this device is made of aluminium. The operating system is Windows 7. As for other features Nokia Booklet 3G has Intel Atom Z530 1.6 GHz CPU, 10.1 inch screen (HD-ready), 120 Gb HDD, SD memory card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, A-GPS module, web camera and HDMI. Another remarkable feature is SIM card slot – this device supports 3G/HSPA network standards. Nokia will show its first netbook on Nokia World 2009. It is expected that Nokia Booklet 3G will cost $635.

Last week Kohjinsha company announced its new Kohjinsha SK3 Tablet netbook. Its main feature is turning touch screen with 7 inch diagonal. Other characteristics are 1.3 GHz CPU, GPS module, SD memory card slot, VGA out, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 module. The operating system is Microsoft Windows 7. It is expected that this laptop will cost approximately $250. Unfortunately there is no any information about price and release date.
