It is also know that LG Ally runs on Google Android 2.1 operating system and is equipped with 600 MHz Qualcomm MSM7627 processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM 3.2 inch capacitive multi-touch screen with 480x800px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera with autofocus and flash, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, GPS, 3.5mm headphones jack. Supported network standards are CDMA/1xEV-DO rev.A 800/1900 MHz. The dimensions are 115.8×56.4×15.7mm, the weight is 157.9g. LG Ally will be released in a week and will cost $100 with two-year contract.

T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide is horizontal QWERTY slider running on Google Android 2.1 operating system with HTC Sense UI. This device features such custom pre-installed apps including the “Faves Gallery” – a social aggregator, “myModes” – a profile manager that can change the phone’s themes and settings depending on current time or location, and the Swype keyboard. There is also “Genius Button” that allows to do just about anything on the phone using voice, hear messages read back to you and etc. The list of technical specification includes 3.4 inch touchscreen with 320x480px resolution and 65K colors, 5 Mp camera with autofocus and flash, 512 Mb internal storage, MicroSD external card slot, Wi-Fi (802.11b/g), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, GPS, compass, accelerometer, motion sensor. T-Mobile operator together with Garmin announced new smartphone featuring impressive navigation capabilities. T-Mobile Garminfone is a version of Garmin Nuvifone A50. It runs on Google Android 1.6 operating system and is equipped with 3.5 inch capacitive multi-touch capable screen with 320x480px resolution, 3 Mp camera with autofocus, 4 Gb built-in storage, microSD memory card slot (up to 32 Gb), Wi-Fi 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, accelerometer digital compass, GPS module. The battery has 1150 mAh capacity and provides up to 3 hours of talk time or 250 hours of idle one. Naturally though the Garminfone’s speciality is the fully-functioning navigation features which include driving, walking and public transportation directions – whether in or out of network coverage. There’s the option of using lane guidance when driving too. It also includes several pre-installed Garmin apps that provide info on local petrol prices, real-time traffic, weather, local events and movie listings. There is no information about price. The release will take place in next few weeks.

Nokia has just announced its budget class smartphone. Nokia C5 is the first mobile device from new Nokia’s Cseries line. It has monoblock shape and runs on Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system. One of the notable features of this device is contact list. It provides an opportunity to check view the status of friends in popular social networks like Facebook and Twitter. You can also change your status in Facebook, adding to information about your location using Ovi Maps 3.0. The main phone screen displays the three most used contacts. This widget allows you to call these people or send them a message via Google Talk or Windows Live Messenger.
