HP unveiled its new netbook designed for students between kindergarten and 6th grade. HP Mini 100e Education Edition features strong plastic chassis with steel pins, a spill-resistant keyboard, and an LED on the back of the lid so that teachers can see when there’s network activity. Other specifications of this laptop are usual for other present-day netbooks. Acer has just officially announced its two coming smartphones that were first shown at Computes 2010 exhibition.

Acer beTouch E120 is powered by Google’s Android 1.6 operating system and supports GSM/UMTS networks. It is equipped with 416 MHz ST Ericsson PNX6715 processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, MicroSD external memory card slot (up to 32 GB), 2.8 inch resistive touch screen with 240×320px resolution, 3.2 Mp camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, digital compass, accelerometer, FM radio, 3.5 mm headphones jack, 1500 mAh battery. The dimensions of this smartphone is 104.5×54x13mm, the weight is 105g.

In contrast to the E120 Acer beTouch E130 has QWERTY keyboard. It also runs on Android operating system (but we don’t have information about its version).
